Markus Poetzsch

Markus Poetzschis Associate Professor of English at Wilfrid Laurier University (Canada) and specialises in British Romantic literature and ecocriticism. He is the author of Visionary Dreariness: Readings in Romanticism’s Quotidian Sublime (Routledge, 2006) and co-editor with Cassandra Falke of Wild Romanticism (Routledge, 2021). He has written extensively on John Clare, William and Dorothy Wordsworth, Thomas De Quincey, Leigh Hunt and Henry David Thoreau. He also dabbles in poetry and writes on matters of faith.
