Mary Alice Dixon

Mary Alice Dixon is a hospice volunteer who seeks prayer in poetry and is in love with miracles and mysteries. A Pushcart poetry nominee, Pinesong Poetry Award winner, and Broad River Review poetry finalist, Mary Alice feels unbelievably lucky to have her work in publications she loves, including Belmont Story Review, Fourth River, Kakalak, Main Street Rag, moonShine review, Mythic Circle, North Dakota Quarterly, three Personal Story Publishing Project anthologies, and forthcoming in Amethyst Review. She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, frequently walking the Stations of the Cross, tending her backyard tomatoes, and visiting Farmers’ Markets with her son.
