How and why, and where all good things are all but nigh - A Musing

For many day and age, the families of men have wandered about upon the earth, and pondered the thoughts of every and any activity under heaven. The consideration of every account of history with every battle waged, every war fought, every treaty signed, every pact broken by the treachery of another, the miscommunication between two conflicting parties, and the hatred and malice invoked by the flesh due to the differences between peoples and nations. With each and every passing day and either restful or restless nights, our minds have pondered one question that many do not get the time to study with a meticulous calculation and with much devoted time and effort: How did humanity come to all of this? From the beginning of all things and the end result of such causes and effects, with each blessing or curse, either for better or worse, that has come about on each and every human being, and the events that have unfolded from such things. Yet, as I study the depth of both the words and deeds of others in both triumphs and transgressions, it seems the cost of our transgressions outweigh the benefits gained by our triumphs, and the limitation of human ability and the ability to exceed beyond what’s considered, “The norm,” in the standards of men for other men, is a temptation with a price that comes as a humbling reminder towards all those who reach towards the heavens with ill and prideful intent.

Earth, is separate from heaven for a reason. The limitations of those who reside in the world brings human beings to the conclusion that heaven and every blessing from a heavenly country, cannot be achieved by either the words or deeds of earthly folk, but must be believed in one who fills both heaven and earth with Himself. Heaven and earth, are separate from each other for a reason. The faulty nature of human beings dictated that separation for a reason, and while the limitations on our ability to successfully produce are hindered as such, we are not without hope. Men have sought and pondered the heavenly places for ages and have inevitably concluded on something greater then themselves whether they acknowledge the truth or not.

Perhaps it is the recognition of our own inability that the ability to do works greater than the mind would dare to imagine or believe, begin to cultivate as a carefully planted seed to those who have the faith to believe. Perhaps heaven and earth are separate so that mankind would recognize the limitations of their inability as a reminder to seek out the one who gives men the ability to produce at all. Such people who believe as such declare that they long for a better country, a heavenly country. Not built or maintained by the faulty nature of men and fading and decaying structures, but by the power and might of He who fills and sustains heaven and earth with everything and all things. For in everything and all things that were, that are, and have not yet come to pass, I know that I can do all things who has made all things according to His own purpose and grace.

If I measure myself by myself then with all things that I measure, I, by myself, will have an insufficient and unreliable understanding of the measure of any and all things at best. But if I measure myself by the standard to He who is perfect in every angle and with every attribute regardless of how I measure then I, must humbly confess to myself and others to my own inadequacy to measure up to such standards by myself alone. Hence why men measure the heavens and the earth with He who is without measure. Whose very nature is eternal and everlasting and is the fulfillment of any and all things under heaven…

May Lord Jesus Christ have all the glory!
